IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada of Canada's Ministry of Industry. As a government agency, it is responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. Its products are roughly divided into: radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, engineering and medical equipment.

 Similar to the FCC in the United States, ICs currently only limit electromagnetic interference.

 Self-verification and certification can be used.

 IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits) + UPN (Unique Product Number, up to 8 digits).

ID application notes:

 1. Must have Canadian representative address information.

 2. The label must contain the following information (manufacturer's name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).

 Relevant standards for IC certification:

 The IC certification standard is basically the same as the FCC. The IC currently only limits the electromagnetic interference.

 ICES-001 Analog Devices: Industrial, Scientific and Medical Radio Frequency Generators

 ICES-003 digital terminal equipment: Interference-Causing Equipment Standards-Digital Apparatus, such as ICES003: ITE: products and computer peripheral office equipment.

 IC RSS Series transmits and accepts low-power radio frequency products. Such as: RSS 210, applicable products: wireless mouse and keyboard, wireless remote control toys and various low-power wireless RF products, CS03 (Telecom Terminal Products PSTN).
