Saudi water energy efficiency

The new Saudi SASO regulations, which began on January 1, 2018, are fully interpreted. Relevant products must first obtain the water-saving registration certificate through this test before they can declare the Saudi COC compliance certificate.

The Saudi Standards Organization SASO (SaudiStandards, Metrology and Quality Organization) announced a new technical regulation covering water use and products for multiple uses to manage water consumption. This regulation was adopted on January 1, 2018. Formally implemented.

The Water Flow Rate is the key to the new regulations. At the same time, products within the scope of this regulation need to apply for “water-saving registration certificate” and put a “water energy efficiency label” on the product to show the water consumption rate of each product.

If the product does not meet the requirements of the new regulations, the product “certificate of conformity SASO-CoC” cannot be obtained and cannot be cleared smoothly in the local area.
