I. Introduction to CCC Certification

CCC certification is 3C certification. The 3C certification is called the “Compulsory Product Certification System”. It is a product conformity assessment system implemented by governments to protect consumers' personal safety and national security, strengthen product quality management, and implement laws and regulations. The so-called 3C certification is China's compulsory product certification system, the English name China Compulsory Certification, the English abbreviation CCC.

Second, why should we carry out 3C certification?

In order to fulfill China's WTO commitments to join the WTO, adapt to the needs of China's market economy development, and establish a technical evaluation mechanism that is in line with international standards, China has established China's Compulsory Product Certification System (CCC) based on four unified principles.

CCC is replaced by all or part of the original Import and Export Commodity Safety Quality Licensing System (CCIB), the Safety Supervision Mandatory Supervision System (Great Wall), the network access permit system, the sales license system, and the industrial product production license system.

The National Certification and Accreditation Administration issued a compulsory product certification system on December 3, 2001 in accordance with the duties assigned by the State Council. Since May 1, 2002, the first batch of certification applications for the 19 categories of 132 products listed in the compulsory product certification catalogue has been accepted. On May 1 this year, law enforcement supervision will be initiated on the certification of these products (currently postponed until August 1).

It should be noted that the 3C mark is not a quality mark, but a basic safety certification. Some of its indicators represent the safety and quality of the products, but it does not mean that the products are also excellent in performance, so purchase In addition to whether the product has a 3C mark, other indicators are also important.

1. Documents required for initial application or related information changes

Mandatory product certification application;

A copy of the applicant's Business License for Enterprise Legal Person or registration certificate (provided at the time of initial application or change);

Organizational structure of the production plant (provided at the time of initial application or change);

Process flow chart for applying for certification products (provided at the time of initial application or change);

List of key equipment used for routine inspection (see certification implementation rules for factory quality control testing requirements) (provided at the time of initial application or change);

Product assembly drawing, electrical schematic diagram;

Apply for the Chinese nameplate and warning mark (in duplicate) of the certified product;

Apply for the Chinese manual of the certified product;

a description of the differences between the models in the same application unit;

Photographs of the appearance of each model in the same application unit (in duplicate);

Other relevant information required when required (please provide if there is a CB test report).

2. Documents to be provided when similar products are applied again

1) Application for compulsory product certification;

2) Product assembly drawing and electrical schematic diagram;

3) Apply for the Chinese nameplate and warning mark (in duplicate) of the certified product;

4) Apply for the Chinese manual of the certified product;

5) A description of the differences between the models in the same application unit;

6) Photographs of the appearance of each model in the same application unit (in duplicate);

7) Other relevant information required when needed (please provide if there is a CB test report).
